2017 - 2023 • Summer Design’s core philosophy is to create cutting edge and sleek experiences for global impact and social justice causes. That said, a lot of the clients that we support are organizations at the forefront of LGBTQIA issues such as trans awareness, gay mens health initiatives, empowering women and lesbian communities, etc. In addition to one-time client projects like Dot-&-Line Learning, I primarily support three ongoing clients - Impulse United, Comfort & Joy, and Grace Towers, providing each with creative, impactful visual designs for marketing initiatives, print collateral, and social media assets to promote each group’s upcoming events and films.

Impulse United is a volunteer organization passionately dedicated to promoting sexual health and education for gay men. “With support from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, this group of volunteers works to create campaigns, events, and online content to reach a new generation of gay men who live in a modern and rapidly evolving world.” The San Francisco Impulse chapter frequently partners with public health organizations such as the San Francisco County Department of Public Health to host fundraiser events every quarter.

Comfort & Joy initially started out as a passionate group of Burning Man attendees (“Burners”) on a mission to build a welcoming organization that advances queer values in San Francisco by building community and creating spaces celebrating art and expression.

Grace Towers uses drag as a portal for change - all with effortless Grace, style and poise. Her “dragtivism”, like Comfort & Joy, help build safe spaces of queer and transgendered expression through art, mentorship and drag history.
